With our extensive industry knowledge and software (Ener-Save), Hambisana has been able to manage and support energy optimization projects for some of the biggest corporates in the country.  We've partnered with Smart Metering companies and have integrated our solutions with the mayor metering hardware suppliers in the industry.  Through flexibility and partnering with engineering firms and other role players, we are able to supply a full turn-key solution for any size company.

During 2005 Telkom embarked on a National Energy Optimization Initiative called NEON that was handled via their Facility Management Company TFMC. The scale of this project can be summarized as a total of 18,000 masts and switches, 6000 buildings with an average spent of R460 million per year on utility accounts. The NEON project had to reconcile all accounts and ensure a yearly saving of an average R10 to R15 million per year.

TFMC engaged the services of Hambisana Consulting to head up the team to conclude on the following set of services:

These included a full tender evaluation process where an Energy Measurement and Verification supplier had to be appointed.
